Beaucarnea recurvata, or the Ponytail Palm, is actually neither a tree, nor a palm, and is closer related to the Agave family of succulents! This enigma will need several hours of direct sun per day. For best results, place it in a South-facing windowsill. This tree is drought tolerant and slow growing, so a good drink every 14 days should do the trick.
