As the name suggests, the Chamaedorea Elegans, or Parlour Palm, is an elegant and graceful tree, suitable to be the centrepiece to any room of your home. Parlour palms will fair well in the shade, but do appreciate seeing the sun for 1-2 hours a day, particularly during the warm summer months. During the warmer months, keep the soil evenly and consistently moist for best growing results. Allow the soil to dry out completely while this tree is dormant over the winter. Do not let this tree get cold, or it will lose colour and wilt!
